CAMELPEDIA

The International Society of Camelids Research and Development (ISOCARD) is proud to launch “CAMELPEDIA”. It is Camelids Encyclopedia aims to promote scientific information related to Camelids according to ISOCARD objectives decided at the general assembly held in April, 2006 in Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates. The purpose of this project is to share knowledge on Camelids through CAMELPEDIA available on the ISOCARD website. At this time the encyclopedia will consist of three parts for each species of the Camelids family. Part one is general information, part two is pictures dictionary, and part three is topics that are specifically related to each camelid species.

All ISOCARD members are invited to contribute to    CAMELPEDIA providing that copyright law is respected. Name of contributors will be mentioned under the materials (Text and pictures) they provide. Please make sure to provide specific materials on specific topic, for example; do not write about diseases in general but you can select as many diseases as you wish separately. If you would like to send images for pictures dictionary please make sure to provide a very short statement explaining the purpose for posting the picture (e.g. type of disease or breed…etc). Please forward your materials to hadrami@uaeu.ac.ae. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
