founded in April 2006 to encourage the study of Camelid
sciences and to promote the scientific publications in
Camelid fields. ISOCARD members are from all
over the world. Membership to ISOCARD is open to those

New
Book: Camel Phenotypes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This book written by
B. Faye and
coll., and published by FAO gives a progress report on the
description of the camel phenotypes in Saudi Arabia. The work
describes the great ecosystems associated with the various
phenotypes and provides quantitative information (measurements) as
well as a typology making it possible to distinguish 4 groups of
animals. On the whole, 12 phenotypes are described in detail,
beautiful photographs with the support.
